Two Effect Evaporator
The double-effect evaporator is a device that achieves solution concentration through two-stage heating and evaporation, using the heat energy of the secondary steam to reduce energy consumption. Compared with single-effect evaporators, double-effect evaporators have higher energy efficiency and are suitable for solution concentration processes with larger processing volumes. This equipment is widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industries. It can effectively improve evaporation efficiency and reduce operating costs, providing an ideal solution for enterprises to achieve energy saving and consumption reduction goals.
Our Evaporator is Applied in Various Fields
GQHB evaporator has mastered the core technology of low-temperature concentration, saving an average cost of 60% compared to traditional wastewater treatment. It is suitable for various industrial wastewater such as high salt wastewater, high COD wastewater, high concentration wastewater, oily wastewater, etc.
Introduction to Two Effect Evaporator
The working principle of a double-effect/two-effect evaporator is to use the secondary steam generated by the first evaporator as a heating source again and introduce it into another evaporator. As long as the pressure in the evaporator and the boiling point of the solution are controlled to appropriately reduce it, The secondary steam generated by the first evaporator can be used for heating. The secondary steam condensation point of the first evaporator is the heating point of the second evaporator. This is the principle of double-effect evaporation.
Generally speaking: single-effect evaporation consumes 1.1~1.2 tons of steam per ton of water, and double-effect evaporation consumes 0.6~0.7 tons of steam per ton of water.
Application Scope of Two Effect Evaporator
- Double-effect evaporator is suitable for evaporation, concentration and crystallization in industries with crystallinity, high concentration and high viscosity, such as chemical industry, pharmaceutical, printing and dyeing, environmental protection engineering, waste liquid evaporation recovery and so on.
- Double-effect evaporators are often used in industrial production such as chemical industry, light industry, food, and medicine, such as antibiotics, sugar refining, and fresh water preparation. They are also often used in chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, metallurgy, mining, petrochemicals, rare earths, lithium batteries, Industrial wastewater treatment in hazardous waste and other industries.
Product Advantages of Two Effect Evaporator
- Save energy costs: The second-effect evaporator uses steam to heat multiple times, reducing the consumption of fresh steam, thereby reducing energy costs.
- Good processing effect: The equipment can effectively concentrate a variety of materials, and the discharge concentration is controllable. It is suitable for process needs with higher product requirements.
- Strong adaptability: The equipment is suitable for all types of solutions, including high viscosity and high boiling point solutions, with strong adaptability and flexible process.
- Easy maintenance: The equipment has a reasonable structure, is easy to clean and maintain, and has low daily operating costs.
- Save equipment investment: Double-effect evaporators have lower operating costs than single-effect evaporators, and investment is more economical than multi-effect evaporators, making them an ideal choice for medium-sized enterprises.
Working Principle of Two Effect Evaporator
- The double-effect evaporator process is divided into three types: forward flow, counter flow, and advection flow according to the different flow directions of heating steam and materials.
