Triple Effect Evaporator
The three-effect evaporator is an efficient liquid concentration device that effectively improves evaporation efficiency through three evaporation processes and maximizes the use of heat energy. Compared with single-effect and double-effect evaporators, triple-effect evaporators have lower energy consumption and higher economic benefits under the same evaporation volume, and are suitable for large-scale industrial applications. Widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other fields, it can effectively concentrate a variety of liquids, reduce production costs, and improve product quality.
Our Evaporator is Applied in Various Fields
GQHB evaporator has mastered the core technology of low-temperature concentration, saving an average cost of 60% compared to traditional wastewater treatment. It is suitable for various industrial wastewater such as high salt wastewater, high COD wastewater, high concentration wastewater, oily wastewater, etc.
Introduction to Triple Effect Evaporator
The three-effect evaporator uses the secondary steam generated by the first evaporator as a heating source again and introduces it into another evaporator. As long as the pressure in the evaporator and the boiling point of the solution are controlled to appropriately reduce them, the first evaporator can be used. The secondary steam generated by the evaporator is heated. The condensation point of the first evaporator is the heating point of the second evaporator.
A triple-effect evaporator consists of three evaporators connected in series. Low-temperature heating steam is introduced into the first effect to heat the waste liquid, and the generated steam is then introduced into the second effect as heating steam, causing the waste liquid in the second effect to evaporate at a lower temperature than the first. This process is repeated up to the last effect. The condensate from the first effect returns to the heat source, while the condensate from the other effects is collected and output as desalinated water. With the input of one unit of steam, multiple units of water can be evaporated. Meanwhile, high-salinity wastewater is progressively concentrated from the first to the last effect, reaching supersaturation and crystallizing out in the final effect, achieving solid-liquid separation of salts and wastewater. Under vacuum, the secondary steam generated from the wastewater in the triple-effect forced circulation evaporator automatically enters the condenser. Cooled by circulating cooling water, the secondary steam swiftly converts into condensate. The condensate can be continuously discharged and recovered to a reuse water tank. The triple-effect evaporator crystallizer achieves higher evaporation efficiency during the wastewater evaporation process.

Working Principle of Triple Effect Evaporator
- Evaporation process: The solution first enters the first-effect evaporator and is heated by steam to evaporate to produce steam. The steam is introduced into the second-effect evaporator for heating.
- Secondary utilization: The steam generated in the first effect enters the second effect evaporator, continues to heat the solution, evaporates again to generate steam, and further concentrates the solution.
- Third evaporation: The steam generated in the second effect then enters the third effect evaporator to achieve the third evaporation, and the final concentrated solution is discharged from the equipment.
