MVR Evaporator

MVR evaporator is a device that uses the secondary steam generated in the evaporation system to work through a compressor, increases the enthalpy of steam, and circulates for heating and evaporation, fully utilizing the waste heat of the secondary steam and condensate in the system. The energy-saving effect is outstanding, reaching over 60%.

Our Evaporator is Applied in Various Fields

GQHB evaporator has mastered the core technology of low-temperature concentration, saving an average cost of 60% compared to traditional wastewater treatment. It is suitable for various industrial wastewater such as high salt wastewater, high COD wastewater, high concentration wastewater, oily wastewater, etc.

Introduction to MVR Evaporator

The MVR (Mechanical Vapor Recompression) device is used to compress secondary steam generated within an evaporation system using a compressor. This process increases the steam's thermal enthalpy, allowing it to be reused for heating and evaporation. This efficiently utilizes the residual heat of the secondary steam and condensate within the system, resulting in outstanding energy-saving effects. It requires no fresh steam, saving over 90% of condensate, 80% of manpower resources, and 60% of space.

The MVR evaporator employs a compressor to compress secondary steam. Domestic compressors can provide a temperature increase of 20℃, while imported ones offer an increase of 9℃. Therefore, the system requires the feed water's boiling point to be preferably less than 15℃ to achieve energy-efficient evaporation. In single-effect evaporation, the generated steam is used only once within the system. The difference between MVR and multi-effect evaporators lies in the continuous recycling of secondary steam within the system, so its energy is not wasted. The system consumes energy to increase the temperature from 119℃ to 130℃, which is the energy consumed by the compressor. MVR's energy efficiency is demonstrated by its ability to make secondary steam useful with only 16KJ input per ton of water.
